This means we strive to connect relationally and care for each other purposefully. Find out how you can share the time, energy, and resources you have in a way that increases well-being for you and your community.

help your friends, family, & neighbors connect
you are a connector
Belonging happens through our connections with people. Interestingly, to be connected in a community does not mean you have to be an outgoing type A person, or that you have to make new friends (although making new friends isn’t a bad thing). You can be more connected and increase belonging with the relationships you already have, the circles you already engage with.
The key is learning how to be intentional with those relationships with your already close connections. Like iron sharpening iron, people grow from their interactions with one another. As people grow, the world becomes a better place, one person at a time. Connections are the key to belonging. People need to know they matter, their story is unique and important, and they can make a difference in the world. In fact, they are supposed to.
ConnectSh is about you! Join the movement, get connected. Get your people connected, family, friends and neighbors. Here’s how to help ConnectSH reach everyone in our community:
"In every community, there is work to be done. In every nation, there are wounds to heal. In every heart, there is the power to do it"
- Marianne Williamson

how to start connecting within St. helens
Breakfast gatherings, reunion initiatives, and integration projects are all designed to facilitate more intentional relational connections between people, organizations and institutions in St. Helens. This is our priority because we believe the science that says belonging is the most fundamental human need.
Belonging is not just feelings. It is the measurable, definable experience of having your truest identity valued by your community and your needs are met by them so you can thrive in your shared mission. Belonging is both relatedness and ownership. When we experience this together as a community, our collective mental, emotional, behavioral, and physical health increases.
If you want to be a part there are several easy entry points
- Attend a zoom breakfast gathering
- Use the ConnectSH web app to complete the sense of community survey and identify your existing connections
